WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is for those seeking to gain a qualification in Builder Gel. This could be those wanting to learn a new skill, those looking to upskill or those wanting to transition over to the Nail Order brand.

To book this course, you must already hold a qualification in Gel Polish and be able to provide your certificate.

WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?

This course covers everything to do with Builder Gel application, including:

  • The full system

  • Equipment required

  • Cuticle & natural nail preparation

  • Nail shaping & filing

  • What an ‘Apex’ is

  • Builder Gel application

  • Refining Builder Gel

  • Troubleshooting

  • Rebalancing

  • Safe removal

  • Showcasing your work

  • Prescriptive manicures

DO I NEED TO BRING A MODEL?

Yes. This course requires you to bring a model to practice on. They will only be required for the second half of the day and will need to arrive at 1.00pm. They must arrive with bare nails.

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE BY THE END OF THE COURSE?

Following completion of the course, you will be awarded with your certificate which will deem you fully qualified in the course you have completed. As the courses are accredited, you will then be able to gain insurance and begin your nail tech journey!

Certificates are issued on completion of the course. This is usually at the end of the day however if the educator feels a student requires a little more practice before being qualified the certificate may be issued at a later date, after additional case studies have been submitted.

KIT REQUIREMENTS

You will need to arrive with all of the items you need to complete the course. This includes:

  • Cuticle tools (cuticle pusher, cuticle nippers/scissors)

  • Nail files (180/240 grit)

  • Dusting brush

  • AnGel (Builder Gel) Starter Kit*

  • Gel Applique Brush

  • Fine Liner Brush

  • Nail lamp (it is recommended to use the Nail Order Lumi Lamp)

*Builder Gel Starter Kit: This includes Primer, three 15g AnGel colours (chosen at random) and Top Coat. This can be purchased directly from the Nail Order website here.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

All courses offered are intensive and are taught over the space of one day. However, once you leave the training course you will receive ongoing support from myself and are able to contact me with any questions you may have, or even just to share your progress!

This course typically runs from 10.00am - 4.00pm.

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO BEFORE THE COURSE?

Before you attend your in-person training course, you will be given access to complete an online nail anatomy and chemistry course via the Nail Order website. This will provide you with the basic knowledge you will need for the practical part of the course.
